According to BBC News Swahili, a restaurant inside of a hotel in Anambra, Nigeria was closed after serving human meat to customers.
When the police arrived at the restaurant, they found human heads stacked up in storage along side machine guns and stacks of phones.
“Every time I went to the market, I observed strange activities going on in the hotel,” a local resident said. “People who were never cleanly dressed and who looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the hotel, making me very suspicious of their activities. I am not surprised at the shocking revelation.”
The restaurant was charging around over $3 per meal, which is a lot in a country where millions of people make less than $1 per day.
‘The attendant noticed my reaction and told me it was the small piece of meat I had eaten that made the bill scale that high,’ a customer said. “I did not know I had been served with human meat, and that it was that expensive.”
1/5 stars. Not worth the trip.
